I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years and have seen first-hand the frustration that denied claims and unsupported needs cause for patients and their families.

• Maybe you have a child with special medical and educational needs. You advocate for your child, but it seems the systems aren’t working with you.

You try to find resources to help you with solutions or at least direction and support, but it is not easy to find available and appropriate resources. It is even worse when someone hands you a piece of paper with a phone number or website and sends you on your own to discover if the resource is appropriate and complete mounds of paperwork with no assistance whatsoever. I have not lived in each of these situations; however, I and a few of my associates have had similar experiences. Through our discussions and successes in finding resources for our own needs, the idea for Resource Beagle was born.
